Even if you walked a mile in these shoes, some of the things I choose would make no sense to you. You’d have to have walked the entire journey, have seen all the wonderful things and terrifying moments, too, to begin to understand why I do what I do.
Some choices from the outsider’s view I’m sure look amazing and awesome, and you think me foolish for turning my back on what you see as a great opportunity.
Other choices from the outsider’s view look like I’m walking straight into blazing hell fire, barefoot with a blindfold on…and you shake your heads and wonder why I’d be so stupid.
I’m not stupid. I’m not foolish. Well, maybe sometimes I’m a little of both, but rarely do I make decisions without a lot of serious thought and heart. Don’t worry or wonder; just wish me well.
